It’s Talkie Time with Jackie Lime is a late-night style variety talk show starring Tom Burton as chaotic crooner Jackie Lime and Indiana Kiely as the contractually obligated HR manager that holds the show together.

Performed each month at The Improv Conspiracy, Talkie Time will be smashing together improv and sketch comedy in a high-energy hour filled with all the things you love about late-night TV – and a few surprises along the way. Every show is completely unique, written and performed by a talented cast and a monthly rotation of special guests and musical performers.

In this hilarious heartfelt one-act play, Chef Chung is the owner and head chef of the Happy Dragon Chinese Restaurant in the regional Victorian town of Gisborne. It was only a few years ago that Chef Chung emigrated to Australia with all of his life savings and a bag full of hopes and dreams to find a better life for himself. However, the reality has not met his expectations and now faces an important decision – should he stay and endure the hardships as an immigrant or go back to where he came from?

Developed by legendary improv gurus Del Close and Charna Halpern, a Harold is a 30-minute non-stop piece of improvised comedy based on a single audience suggestion.

Harold Night at The Improv Conspiracy a weekly 2-hour show featuring four of our Harold teams, each presenting their own unique take on the format. The show is divided in half with two teams per bracket.

Brendan was a member of the house ensemble teams for two years between 2017-2019.

Bess County is a sketch comedy group from Melbourne. Our debut show, The First Annual (Doris To Insert) Festival, was performed at Melbourne Fringe from September 15 – September 23 2017.

The First Annual (Doris to Insert) Festival was written, performed, and produced by Elyce Phillips, Simon Hawkings, Brendan Wan, and Tino Merino and directed by Hayley Tantau.

The tight-knit community of Bess County is ecstatic to put on their first ever festival…until they realise that big dreams cost big money! To make matters worse they are in the running to win a nationally televised reality show and their bumbling mayor has gone on a trip to Rio de Janeiro! With no money, mounting pressure, and a festival organiser focused on snake jeans, the stakes for this small town have never been higher.
